Flat Pope Francis

SO THAT YOU KNOW, THIS IS A FALSE MAKE-BELIEVE NEWS, ALBEIT FUNNY, COMING FROM THE PHILIPPINES.   As far as the 15th ? Century since Galileo , and Henry VIII and Elizabeth I,  no pope has ever excommunicated anyone.  Pope Francis of all people would never do such a thing so as to punish someone whose intention was to give a nice impression of the country the pope was visiting.  Ms. Dinky probably had no idea that Pope Francis who hails from Argentina had some homeless folks sleeping near the sidewalk and almost at the front door of  his home church where he used to hold Holy Mass.  Take my word, I visited Argentina once.

POST NOTES: 

Good Lord!  Was I wrong.  Galileo (1564 - 1642) was not excommunicated.   He was called a heretic by Rome Inquisition and sentenced to just under house arrest all his life.
