Internet Service Provider (ISP)

I SAID TO MYSELF, SELF, THIS IS REALLY, REALLY BAD.  MY INTERNET SERVICE PROVIDER IS AT&T.  That's right, I'm having internet connection drops lately.  So I look in the internet why.  I could not believe (yes, I believe) the many complaints against AT&T.   And they  are having this type of problem for some years.   AT&T blame it on everything else except itself.   How stupid is this - telling me to go to AT&T website for support?  How can I go there when I don't have internet connection.  AT&T Technical Support should stop telling customers on how to fix the problem.  Let me tell you, customers just quit.  Now, what should I do?  I have no idea.

 This is America: Why there was no class action suit against AT&T for providing bad internet service?  All these frustrated customers, including me,  constantly rebooting their modems and routers.

Como esta, amigo y amiga? Giggles.

In these times of bank failures and other
 discouraging news, here is something to lighten your day.  Smile !!.
 Give thanks to God, in spite of the circumstances, and know and believe
that  He is in control.   Enjoy !

A SPANISH Teacher was explaining to her class that in Spanish, unlike
English, nouns are designated as either masculine or feminine. 'House' for
instance, is feminine: 'la casa.' 'Pencil,' however, is masculine: 'el lapiz.' A
student asked, 'What gender is 'computer'?' Instead of giving the answer, the
teacher split the class into two groups, male and female, and asked them to
decide for themselves whether computer' should be a masculine or a feminine
noun. Each group was asked to give four reasons for its recommendation.

The men's group decided that 'computer' should
definitely be of the feminine gender ('la computadora'), because:

1. No one but their creator understands their
internal logic;

2. The native language they
use to communicate with other computers is incomprehensible to everyone else;

3. Even the smallest mistakes are stored in
long term memory for possible later retrieval; and

4. As soon as you make a commitment to one, you find yourself spending
half your paycheck on accessories for it. (THIS GETS BETTER!)

The women's group, however, concluded that
computers should be Masculine ('el computador' ), because:

1. In order to do anything with them, you have to turn them
on;

2. They have a lot of data but still
can't think for themselves;

3. They are
supposed to help you solve problems, but half the time they ARE the problem;
and

4. As soon as you commit to one, you
realize that if you had waited a little longer, you could have gotten a better
model.

The women won.  Send this
to all the smart women you know...and all the men that have a sense of
humor.

  1. I MUST DISCLOSE I REPORTED AND FILED A COMPLAINT AGAINST AT&T ON DIFFERENT MATTER SOME YEARS AGO WITH THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU (BBB). BBB DID A SATISFACTORY JOB FOR ME. THANK YOU VERY MUCH.

  2. I DID SEARCH AND LOOK FURTHER ABOUT A FEW CLASS ACTION SUIT AGAINST AT&T. A FEW YEARS AGO, THE SUPREME COURT SIDED WITH AT&T THAT THERE SHOULD BE NO CLASS ACTION SUIT AGAINST THE COMPANY. ARBITRATION IS PREFERRED OR GO TO SMALL CLAIMS COURT.

  3. SILLY ME! I REALIZED I DID NOT HAVE ANY PROBLEM BEFORE WITH NO INTERNET CONNECTION BECAUSE I UNPLUG MY MODEM EVERYDAY AFTER NOT USING THE COMPUTER. SO IT'S LIKE REBOOTING EVERYDAY.

  4. FOLKS, COMPUTER TECH SUPPORT ALWAYS TELL US THAT THE PROBLEM OF UNPLUGGING AND PLUGGING SHOULD NOT BE THE CASE BUT THAT IS THE CASE. IT'S LIKE RE-STARTING THE COMPUTER WHENEVER WE GET A NEW PROGRAM.
