Nephilims in Greece

BANK NOTES    IS GREECE CLOSE TO BANKRUPTCY AND IN DEFAULT?  Not, if able to pay the European Union its debt of $1.7 billion.  Banks are closing and upset bank customers can only withdraw $65 from ATM.   I said to myself, self, Greece the home of the Oracle of Delphi is such a beautiful country and a popular tourist destinations.  I'm mystified why modern Greece is not able to pay.  Now compare this to Puerto Rico, a commonwealth of the United States , which is in debt of $74 billion!!!!!!

Hard to figure.  I guess austerity measures are not enough.

My Carbon Footprints

CLIMATE DENIERS ARE NOT NORMAL HUMAN BEINGS.   - EPA ADMINISTRATOR

I said to myself, self, climate change is Mother Nature's way of renewing the earth.  So why environmental activists then blame human beings in not believing in climate change?  Of course, there's climate change since the history of  creation.  Did human beings prevent earthquakes, flooding, volcanic eruptions, snowstorms among other things since the geologic changes?  The earth is evolving because the population is increasing.  Just because environmental scientists say so don't make it a fact and the truth.  The bottomline for these people is business and money and political.  I repeat, it's Mother Nature's way.  Likewise, climate deniers maybe abnormal but climate changers are wackos in the head.

Tell me why?

I took the carbon footprints test on a whim.  As a woman's prerogative everything and anything is a whim with me.  Comparing myself with hypocrite politicians and environmentalists I always pat myself in the back in being environmentally conscious and a sincere and willing participant on my own.  In other words, an excellent and conscientious recycler.  Good for me.  Good for the environment.

Guess whose plane this is? Queen Pelosi.  Yeah, that Nancy.  According from what I heard from Mark Levin, a casual user and abuser of using military planes for her family, friends and aides on flights from Washington D.C. to San Francisco, her royal kingdom, and as faraway as Copenhagen.  I betcha her carbon footprints is sky high unto the black hole.

Over the Rainbow

EVANSTON, ILLINOIS
JUNE 1, 2013  8:00 PM - I'M NOT SURE WHEN THIS RAINBOW APPEARED WHEN I WAS TOLD TO LOOK OUTSIDE MY DOOR (I was watching IL VOLO on PBS).  It was raining very hard before the hour, on and off, and it just stopped raining.

Rainbow is a natural phenomenon which appears in the sky when the sun shines after a shower of rain.  If the rain has been heavy, the bow may spread all the way across the sky, and its two ends seem to rest on the earth below with maybe a leprechaun guarding his pot of gold (?).  The reflection and refraction of the sun's rays as they fall on the drops of rain cause this formation and gives off seven colors: Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Violet, Indigo and Blue ( R O Y G V I B).  But these colors blend into each other so the observer rarely see more than four clearly.  Sunlight is a combination of the seven colors and each color has a particular range of wavelengths.

Sony Cyber-shot Program Auto
You see a rainbow when the sun is behind you and the rain is falling in front of you.  As a ray from the sun passes into a drop of rain, the water acts like a tiny prism.  The ray is bent (refracted) as it enters the drop and is separated into different colors.  As it strikes the inner surface of the drop, it is turned back (reflected).  On leaving the drop, it is further refracted or dispersed.  Each color is formed by rays that reach the eye at a certain angle, and the angle for a particular color never changes.

My Dear Fellow Thomasians/Alumni:

The USTPMTBBAA reunion was a tremendous success through the guidance of Professor Joe, the loving support and hard work of Mrs. G and their excellent Canadian coordinators (Suzette,Chong, Ofie & friends).

I uploaded hundreds of pictures contributed by yours truly, Zeny Hilbert, Professor Joe, Leticia Padilla, Zeny & Willie - exclusive only to the USTPMTBBAA web site.

I just finished creating the MSN GROUPS page "Twistin' Toronto"  - Members Only -http://groups.msn.com/USTPMTBBAA/twistintoronto.msnw

Right now,  being an Illinois planter (my common garden of lettuce, carrots, tomatoes & papaya are being invaded by one squirrel or a rabbit) and an FBO, I'm bogged down with many thoughts and projects but slowly like a turtle there's nothing that this multi-tasker can't handle.  My next project for the Windows Movie Maker is a CD titled "Memoirs of a Med Tech" dedicated to those Med Techs who turned the Big 40 this year.

Let's keep twistin' like we did last summer.

Yeah! Yeah! Yeah!

TV News Anchors

LESTER HOLT   IS THE NEW NEWS ANCHOR OF NBC NIGHTLY NEWS.   He replaced Brian William who got a second chance as MSNBC breaking news and special  reporter after six months of deliberation by the network what to do with him.   The six months suspension was up -- you know, should he stays or should he goes?  Under a different circumstances the network did the same thing to my favorite Ann Curry.  Eventually, I think, Brian Williams will go the same path to oblivion just like Ann Curry.

I WATCH A LOT OF NEWS.  I Stopped watching the local and national news a decade ago since TV news anchors of CBS, NBC and ABC have become pawns of the liberal mainstream media and the Democrats.  Now I mostly watch BBC WORLD NEWS and FOX.

ANN CURRY

I never liked Brian Williams since the time when he interviewed George W and kind of looked down at him.  He would not do that to any other presidents, especially Barack Obama.   Williams' secret is out now: That while reporting in Iraq in 2003 his helicopter was hit by rocket-propelled grenade and crashed.  Not true.  And during typhoon Katrina, he saw a body floating in front of  the Ritz Hotel where he was staying.  Again, not true.  He's the last remaining dinosaur of TV news anchors: his contemporary Dan Rather (CBS) hit the road sometime ago.  And Peter Jennings (ABC) was long dead but never stopped asking where was George W on September 11th.

When women TV news anchors became the catch of the time, you know Connie Chung, Katy Couric, Diane Sawyer and Barbara Walters, I wondered why NBC did not hire ANN CURRY as NBC NEWS anchor.  I liked her journalistic seriousness in delivering the local and world news.  I was a bit surprised why.

The new faces in NBC TODAY show are just fine with me.

PREPOSTEROUS: That
is contrary to nature, reason, or common sense; Absurd.

Here are
my Most
Preposterous People
(and Thing), just
because....

1.  Electing Barack Hussein Obama as the 44th
President of the United States of America: The most unqualified and
inexperienced of all the presidential candidates, so tainted with questionable
characters (Rezko, Ayres, and Wright) he got elected, beside being named
Magic Negro by a Los Angeles Times reporter, only because
of the incessant hype of nothing by the liberal elites and bias mainstream
media (good to know they are all going to bankruptcy) who will forever and ever
give him a free pass and glorification because of the color of his skin.
His avid supporters said he's intelligent and a graduate of Ivy League schools,
that's why he's more qualified than Sarah Palin. Tell that to all the million
students who graduated with honors from Harvard U. and University of
Chicago.  For a guy who has done nothing of consequence in his early
political life, being the new stooge of the liberal elite is a big
accomplishment indeed!

2.  Comparing Michelle Obama to Jacqueline Kennedy
Onassis: What?! Who brought that up?

3.  Contributing more than $600 million to the Obama
political campaign: Who said there are no middle-class Americans? For a guy who
gave more than $300 as charitable donation (same with Biden), what a tightwad
when it comes to spreading his wealth!

4.  Not electing John
McCain: Not winning this time is destiny's telling him being his life saved in
Vietnam is winning enough.

5.  Colin Powell criticizing Sarah Palin: What a
poor excuse of a man who's very afraid that he'll be badmouthed and ostracized
by his fellow blacks for all eternity.  Understandable!  But I pity
the man!

6.  Global warming hoax: Al Gore's doom and gloom way
of getting the Nobel Peace Prize.

7.  Skyrocketing gas prices:  From a high of
$160 down to $40 a barrel, there's no doubt of manipulation and
conspiracy.

8.  Global economic meltdown: The perfect chain
reaction.

9.  Selling the electric car:  Nobody is gonna
buy it, including self, except the hybrid and green people.

10.  Assaulting George W:  A total disgrace and
insult to the American President.  Not funny and
unforgivable!  And for me....a disappointing and slow reaction by the
President's Secret Service.

What's yours?

Happy New
Year!

Happy Earth Day from Sister Moon

POPE FRANCIS JUST RELEASED HIS ENCYCLICAL LAUDATO SI ON CLIMATE CHANGE (AKA GLOBAL WARMING).  He's following on the footsteps of his namesake Francis of Assisi, Patron Saint of Ecology.

CANTICLE OF THE SUN

The Heavens are telling the glory of God
and all creation is shouting for joy.
Come dance in the forest, come,
play in the field, and sing, sing
to the glory of the Lord.
Sing, sing to the glory of the Lord.

Praise for the sun, the bringer of day,
he carries the light of the Lord in his rays;
the moon and the stars who light up the way
unto your throne.

Praise for the wind that blows through the trees,
the seas' mighty storms, the gentlest breeze;
they blow where they will,
they blow where they please
to please the Lord.

Today, April 22nd, in the Year of the Lord, the people of earth are observing Earth Day.  Reverence for all life is mostly the earthly theme of the Easter season and observe worldwide on the March Equinox.
Earth Day was first recognized 40 years ago today.  In 1979, Pope John Paul II named St. Francis of Assisi, divine author of the "Canticle of the Sun," as Patron of Ecology.  The Pope called the saint, "an example of genuine and deep respect for the integrity of creation."  In retrospect, the rich saint (born 1181/1182 in Italy), poor saint, gave away his "worldly" goods to be with his "worldly" friends, creatures big and small, nicknaming them: "Mother Earth," "Brother Sun" and "Sister Moon."

The first Earth Day was held in San Francisco, California, which is named after St. Francis.  The special day was supported by the Franciscan Brothers and the Catholic parishes of the city by the bay.
He's the Patron Saint of San Pablo City, Philippines and Meycauayan, Bulacan.  I'm not exactly sure why St. Paul is not the patron of San Pablo City, and chose St. Francis?

Enjoy the ALT video "EARTH ETERNAL" made by LP:FOE (FRIEND OF EARTH) in observance of EARTH DAY!
