WHAT'S HAPPENING IN
RUSSIA AND GEORGIA made me dig into my travel video library.
I think Russia is
making a very bad decision in trying to irritate the US and European
Union. The US and NATO members have a lot of leverage against the
Russians. How so? The membership to WTO, removal from G8 and here we go
again - boycotting the Olympics.

Look at China. I've been to China and
China has surpassed Russia in so many things. Of course, they have
something in common - lack of individual freedom and religion and my precious
possession - my own house with beautiful garden. China was successful
because of help and investments from the US and European countries.

Russia should and must realize that
being isolated from the West is not for their common interest and that
promoting goodwill and friendly relations with Georgia and their
neighboring countries will have more lasting effect.

its former glory by occupying little Georgia.
