Pope Francis' meeting with priests, religious, seminarians and families of super typhoon Yolanda (international name Haiyan) survivors at the Cathedral of Palo was very short-lived. The Pope was deeply saddened but it's God's will.   He had to cut his stay by four hours and flew back to Manila because of the worsening storm.

What's Lent got to do with science? There's a good connection considering   Lent is faith.  A man of religion once said, "Faith and science are the same.  The only contradiction is when you take God out of the picture."

What have I reflected within myself, through God's eternal light, in moments of serious consideratiion of accepting and rejecting things during this Lenten Journey of Forty Days?....

  • Open and examine my attachments.  PRIORITIZE AND TRASH THE JUNKS OF YOUR LIFE.
  • Take control of my life  DON'T WORRY, BE HAPPY.
  • Be grateful!  DO NOT MEASURE MYSELF OF THINGS THAT I DO NOT HAVE.

DON'T WORRY
By
Nora M. Bozeman
Don't worry about tomorrow
And what your fate might be,
For by the time tomorrow comes
Today's but a memory.
Don't spend your time wondering
If happiness will last;
Think about your life today
For all too soon it's past.
Sometimes sadness comes along
And we seldom realize,
It was really happiness
Wrapped up in disguise.
So don't fret when skies are gray,
Because in just the blink of an eye - -
Tomorrow is yesterday!
Do not worry about tomorrow; tomorrow will take care of itself.... *Matthew 6:34
