Tatort Cologne: Manila

I WATCH A LOT OF MYSTERY SHOWS, MHz INTERNATIONAL AND AMERICAN.  My favorites Agatha Christie, Maigret, Poirot etc ...  I've seen them all.  They are all re-runs now.  I must confess I'm not into situation comedy and reality shows.   So, I was channel surfing as usual last night when TATORT (Crime Scene), a German mystery show caught my attention.  The main actors in the show's episode that was produced in 1998, police guys Max Ballauf and Freddy Schenk were in Manila investigating human trafficking of little boys and girls.  Ballauf was following up on what happened to March (Manolo) who was living with her mother in Germany.  A police officer told Ballauf there are one million street children in Manila.  The Philippines I've heard and read before is a magnet for sexual perverts and pedophiles from Australia, England, Germany and the United States.  There's no doubt that human trafficking in the Philippines and other parts of the world is still on-going.

Next time I see him I'm gonna ask for his autograph.

  1. Thanks for recommending...Asian-American moviemakers and actors are quite talented and full of ideas and dreams.  Hope it's a success.

  3. SUFFER THE LITTLE CHILDREN: I DID A SHORT WIKIPEDIA READING ON HUMAN TRAFFICKING IN THE PHILIPPINES. INDEED, A LOT OF EVIL PEOPLE IN THIS WORLD. IT'S GOOD TO KNOW THAT UNICEF AND LOCAL ORGANIZATIONS ARE HELPING TO PREVENT SEX TOURISM IN THE PHILIPPINES, ASIA, MIDDLE EAST AND EUROPE.
