USS Abraham Lincoln New Commander

CAPTAIN RONALD RAVELO     For the first time in the history of the United States Navy, he became the new Commander of carrier USS Abraham Lincoln.  He is the son of a retired US Navy chief Ben Ravelo who left the Philippines to serve in a country, the USA, whose language he did not even know.  As reported by Stars and Stripes, an independent military news portal. he expressed pride to lead about 2,500 service members, but humbly he said he really do not feel like I'm any more special than any other officers.  Before he read his orders as a new commander, he snapped a selfie with young sailors to show he is just one of them.
