WHAT A TERRIBLE THING TO DO TO A FELLOW CLASSMATE?! It reminded me of something that happened many years ago to the hazing of a high school student on the northwest suburb of Chicago, Illinois. These high school teens that did this dirty and inhumane deed are terrible human beings. They better be prepared because someday a similar thing will happen to them. What goes around comes around.

WHAT IS THIS ICE BUCKET CHALLENGE? It's an informal, grassroots fundraiser started by someone by challenging a friend or acquaintance to make a donation to the ALS Association or another charity. The ALS funds research is aimed at preventing or curing Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, also known as Lou Gehrig's Disease after the baseball great who had the disease. It kills by robbing the victims of control over their muscles bit by bit, until finally their vital organs stop working. Most challenge participants dump the ice on themselves, and also make a donation, before challenging more people. It has become trendy, made the rounds in social media and even former President George W. Bush participated upon being challenged by his daughter Jenna.
Because of what happened to poor Ice Bucket Boy, it somehow lost its appeal but not before putting more than $94 million in the coffers of the ALS Association by August 27.

I hope these high school students who did this terrible deed once identified will be prosecuted by Ohio's District Attorney and recorded.
ReplyDeleteI've been following this story of Ice Bucket Boy. The police have identified the 5 boys who did the dastardly deed. Those boys are bullies!!!!! They should be taught a lesson. It looks like the boy has recovered - nothing like a good long bath will do. Also donations have been given to the family to at least alleviate their anger and heartaches for their dear boy.
