THE INTERNATIONAL POTLUCK DINNER is a kickoff to Skokie Festival of Cultures and was celebrated on October 11, Monday, three months earlier.  The kickoff in previous years was scheduled in January.  Why the change? Probably the cold weather.  Folks from different nationalities ( India, The Philippines, Turkey & the United States, of course) cooked and brought their national dishes for the guests to taste and sabor.
