This is a wonderful opportunity if you enjoy teaching microbiology subject. I used to teach at a Chicago hospital's school of medical technology many years ago. It's very rewarding and satisfying to share your knowledge about the life and culture of microbes. I hope you apply.
I think it's quite easy to be a professor or instructor at community colleges as long as you have academic and work discipline. I used to work with medical technology students from OCC connected with different hospitals in Illinois that's providing microbiology lab experience for them. The students have been taught well.
