Hitler the Painter

Baby Hitler

ADOLF HITLER (APRIL 20,1889- APRIL 30,1945) AS A YOUNG MAN WANTED TO ATTEND THE VIENNA ACADEMY OF FINE ARTS BUT WAS REJECTED TWICE.  Many wondered if he had been accepted by the academy, would the course of world history (Holocaust) have been very different? He dreamed of becoming famous as an artist but like all starving artist at the time he was just called a 'postcard painter.'  As a prolific artist all through his life he painted about 2000 to 3000 drawings,  and even catalogued  to 4,731 artworks that could be real or fake.  So now, with exception of German painters, do you know of a famous painter that came out of Austria?  His present-day admirers call him the 'Eternal Avatar of Art.'  And to them he's most definitely up there in the pantheon of world famous painters.  Here are some of his drawings, watercolor paintings and artworks - you be the judge.
