Thank you so much for accepting as my MHSGIA "Australian Connection." I understand your current situation now being busy with you love life. I always say time is money - be it in the form of getting in touch with fellow batchmates, taking the time of advising and giving monetary support to all scholars like Beng, Star, Mildred, and Dean C2 are doing in the Philippines, and other types of volunteerism. I wonder if they pay a social visit to the homes of the scholars to assess their personal as well as their school situation? A friend of mine told me when she was earning a lot of money she gave a lot to charities but now that she's retired and living on her Social Security benefits she does give very little. You know, in the Bible when St. Paul said not to exalt yourself when giving alms to people, he was really saying to the early Christians who were very much persecuted in those days under Caesar to not let themselves be known. Fast forward to the 21st Century - time has changed. Good and faithful new Christians are no longer afraid of anything because God is on their side. There's no Roman Empire to feed you to the lion if you're a Christian. Exalt yourself with your donation, big or small. You'll never be called a millionaire without than one cent added to your $999,999.00. Be pompous! Be an inspiration to others for gift giving!
