Maze: Gethsemane
From the Mount of Olives where the Lord ascended into heaven (Acts 1), we descended walking and passing by the Pater Noster Church and visited Dominus Flevit where "the Lord wept" as he beheld the Holy City. FYI: The place is considered holy so we were told to be properly attired - to wear long sleeves and below the knee dress for women and no short pants for men.
After taking a personal time for prayer, we walked along the Palm Sunday Road down to the Garden of Gethsemane where we saw the 2,000 year old olive trees that dated back to the time of Christ.
The Garden where Jesus prayed the Lord's Prayer. No Judas tree here. But there was a kiss to Jesus in exchange for 30 pieces of silver.
