SELF IS POSITIVE PROOF THAT FILIPINOS ARE ALWAYS SMILING AND HAVE AN OPTIMISTIC OUTLOOK IN LIFE. I'm always wondering why some if not most Americans and Europeans with all the wealth and luxury that they have, compared with poverty-stricken nations, are always depressed, psychotic or mentally deranged, and wasting their money on drugs. Most especially depending on drugs to make themselves high and happy. Why not share their money on charitable giving and volunteering to occupy their time? But like I always say to my friends, everything is genetic.

Just what is wrong
with the Filipino people? They don't realize how lucky they are to have
Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo as their president.

More than a month ago, I was in a hotel in
Greece resting from a fun day of sightseeing and shopping. I turned on the
TV and who? who did I see? Madame President GMA with our beloved President
Bush. She was presiding over the United Nations Security Council summit in
New York with other 160 bigshot leaders of member countries. The Filipinos
should be proud - she was the first woman, the first Philippine president, and
the first Asian leader to sit on the prestigious chair of the Security
Council. She's a trailblazer like US Supreme Court Justice nominee Harriet
Miers. But pray tell, what does she get in return? Nothing but
constant rallies from the 'bakya' crowd (poor and uneducated) and elitist
(college professors mostly) Filipino citizens and terrible insults from
the power grabbing and self-serving politicians. To borrow a phrase
from Rush Limbaugh, the American Doctor of Democracy, I say they are 'stuck on
stupid'. Take for instance the impeachment challenge - it's over and done
with. Dumped! What a waste of time and effort by these
yahoos. Moreover, one of her main detractors are the licentious mainstream
press who are really Communist by heart. Sound
familiar?

the exploit.

She's got my full admiration in proudly
defending with all her best the constant barrage of attacks against her
family and administration. Hopefully, she'd be able to promote and
develop her Millennium Development Goals (MDG) in paying up the $4.5 billion
debts of the Philippines - this year, more efforts in collecting delinquent
taxes, fighting graft and corruption, and getting assistance from foreign
business leaders.

In the forefront of business investors is
Ford Motor Company. Officials led by corporate executive VP Mark Schultz
informed President GMA of its plan to launch its latest model, the Ford Focus,
in the region. [Ford cars are excellent. I've been driving Ford for almost
20 years! No problem. They make it so good I have not bought a car
since 1986. But this is not good, I think. If you make a product
like cars so good, consumers won't come and buy another for many years like
in my case and that's bad for business]. Ford has also completed the
hiring of an additional 460 local employees and started their
two-shift operations which will double the plant's production capacity from
16,000 to 32,000 vehicles per year. Ford's P4 billion plant in Laguna has
a current capacity of 25,000 vehicles per year and is capable of producing at
least four different vehicle platforms. In his 2003 visit to the
Philippines, the young and handsome Ford chairman & CEO Bill Ford made an
investment commitment of $50 million to help build the Philippines into regional
export hub. I LOVE FORD!

Most Pinoys don't know how to appreciate great women leaders like Pres. Arroyo.
ReplyDeleteThey are so hooked in electing favorite of the moment pop actors with no experience

Very, very scary. They want to put back former Pres. Estrada in power.
ReplyDeleteAnd much worse, Susan Roces, an old actress and a sore loser.
Now I really feel sorry for the Filipino people. Are these people
really dumb and stupid?
