Blessings to you and your family! I have made the exciting decision to go on a mission trip with my local church, Valley Praise Foursquare Church. We are going on a short term mission trip to Cambodia from February 13-25, 2014.
To those who have never been to Cambodia, it is a poor country where most children, especially in districts such as Banteay Mean Chey Province, live in poverty and are orphans. Some of the villagers do quarry work, but a majority of the people are poor rice farmers. Most children are orphaned by war, land mines and the rapid spread of disease. Medical and dental care is very expensive and unaffordable for the vast majority of the population.
Our team will provide dental services; assist in construction projects, support the medical clinic and engage in the opportunity to share God's Word to the impoverished area of Banteay Mean Chey Province.
I am inviting you to partner with us in this worthy endeavor through your financial support, as well as your prayers. The total amount I will need for this great opportunity is $1,950, which covers the cost of transportation, lodging, and meals.
