Immigration Reform

ONE OF THE PROMISED FREE GIFTS OF PRESIDENT-ELECT BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA IS GRANTING AMNESTY TO ALL ILLEGAL ALIENS OR SOMETHING CLOSE TO IT.

As an immigrant from the Philippines, it was a long road for me taking a duration of some years to become an American citizen.  My Foreign Exchange Student visa was waived by US Immigration and Naturalization Service (as it was called then) and I have to live in the United States as a Permanent Resident for six years.  So I know what I'll be talking about.

When one applies for immigration visa with a US consulate there are many strict legal rules and regulations - too numerous and too complicated for me to mention here.  Illegal aliens who came from other far away countries, i.e. Philippines, Poland (I see them protesting on TV), but not the folks from Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador and South America (they just cross the border in Texas, Arizona and California by jumping the fence), come through the back door up north from Canada.
In 2006, when my favorite President-of- All-Time George W. Bush seemed to favor the immigration reform bill of McCain-Kennedy, I was all for it.  Really and truly, under the Bush Administration the economy was very progressive until 2006 when the Pelosi-Reid tandem took over Congress.  What an ugly couple?! After that, until today, nothing but doom and gloom.  And the resident evil in the White House rises again.  Thanks to the 51%.  No one in the liberal media and all pundits dare say ever that Obama was elected and re-elected because he's black for fear they would be called "racist."  Maybe, just maybe, in the long run the recent Republican presidential candidate could have won the Latino votes.  And never the black votes.  In the short run, it was a win for the Conservatives then because it kind of slowed down the illegal entry down south of the border and 7,000 miles of wall was erected.  Since then many were deported and re-deported for they kept coming back until recession set in.  Bye-bye Miss American Pie - no job for me here (job unemployment skyrocketed as high as 9.4% under Obama compared to Bush's 4.9%!)
There will be no immigration reform under Obama.  He's a do-nothing President for four years and I'll be surprised if things get done as a lame-duck President.
