Who are these "zero ambition losers in return for votes? Anyway, senior citizens as "greedy" folks is maybe the wrong choice of word.  In my opinion, Social Security should be reformed, re-designed and adjusted to sustain the needs of future beneficiaries.  What's wrong with that?  Times keep changing.  There's nothing wrong if you're able and strong to keep working until you're 67 or 70.  The retired folks who paid Social Security taxes and Medicare in the past are getting their benefits and are reaping what they have sown.  Indeed, in the Ponzi scheme of things they are entitled to their share.

Why does a slight tax increase cost you two hundred dollars and a substantial tax cut save you thirty cents? ** Peg Bracken

Answer: It's left-wing social engineering.
