Puerto Princesa Subterranean Cave

Day 2 of our whole day nature adventure. It took us 2-hours to reach the national park and then we have to take 2 boats. We were told Palawan is so big the other tourist attractions are 6 hours to drive by car or by van.

I'm not sure if Joseph Rosendo, the popular TV seasoned traveler host, who never missed quoting Mark Twain this: "Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry and narrow-mindedness," had ever been to this part of the Philippines. I think he's the only one who ever featured the Philippines in one of his popular series.

A UNESCO World Heritage Site - the only one of its kind!

We explored 1 km out of 8.2 km of underground river.
