CONDOR TRAVEL AND TOURS
Sunday, October 14 We woke up early in the morning for a pivate transfer of approximately 20 minutes from our hotel to the Ollanta Train Station. We boarded the Expedition Train and enjoyed a 2-hour journey passing through lush, green fields and colorful villages in the foothills of the Andes. The final train destination is Aguas Calientes, the little town with an elevation of 6,700 ft., located at the bottom of Machu Picchu Mountain.
I had the usual Coke while Luz had Coca Tea - good in combatting the high altitude
The flowing and bubbling white river followed our train ride all the way to Aguas Calientes
