LYDIA'S ODYSSEY started way back when she was a Manila High School graduate from the Philippines.  Before she immigrated as a lab tech to the Land of the Finns

she toured Tokyo, Baghdad, and other Asian countries  as part of a successful young and graceful group of Filipino cultural dancers . But there's one very important thing she's been dreaming of ....that of meeting her darling classmates and batchmates, and most of all, her  teacher and idol you might say, the well-loved Ma'am Amor Batoy-Bibaoco.

Mom Aurelia welcoming President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo of the Philippines in her visit of Helsinki
In December of last year, with her Mom Aurelia (she's a big fan of President George W. Bush)
lovingly carried in her big wings (also supported by the extra wings of SkyGoddess Te), she flew to America in pursuit of meeting most of her high school friends from coast to coast, and from the US border to Toronto.  This batchmate of her was quite impressed looking at her  high-heeled boots ever ready for walking and stepping from town to town....

Risking  the roaring wonder of Niagara Falls
Washington, D.C. - Robert
 Richmond, Virginia - Belen
Baltimore, Maryland - Tina
Chicago, Illinois - Te, Lib, & Margie

Los Angeles - Ruby, Horacio, Fely, & Ma'am Amor
Celebrating New Year's Eve with.....
Seating l-r: Lovable Ma'am Amor, Forever Young Mom Aurelia; Standing l-r: Fely, SkyGoddess Te, Horacio, Lydia the Goddess of Dance, & Ruby (Gov. Arnold's civil servant)
With God's wind and blessing, Lydia's odyssey is over with no hitch and glitch and she's long back in her adapted Helsinki home
