One of the most beautiful stops for new pilgrims - old Spain 1140 - spanning over a century....

This is so cool - the New Cathedral even had a sculpture of an "astronaut." (If you look real close - count 3 up).  Old Cathedral and New Cathedral - hybrid of  Romanesque, Gothic and Baroque architectural design.  In 1513, King Ferdinand decided a bigger, more spectacular cathedral be built and over two centuries of construction.
