UST Classmate Minda

Minda retired early from her job at BioMerieux USA Automated Microbial System, a few years ago and since then she's been living the good life in the Philippines. She threw a big welcome luncheon for her classmates who arrived from the United States and friends at Global City, near Manila. 1. There was an explosion last May 31st due to gas leak at the posh condominium Two Serendra, Global City, killing 3 and injuring 4 people. The blast totally destroyed Unit 501-B of Two Serendra. Our classmate Minda owns 2 units at One Serendra. Serendra is owned and managed by Ayala Land, Inc. I've seen the condominium unit that was for sale for $35,000 (?) but there was a minor problem (major for me) - the water pressure of the toilet was very low. This is a problem for high-rise buildings. When I was in Rio de Janeiro, the water pressure at the hotel was also low. The same thing happened to me when I was in Marriott Hotel in Iowa City. Everywhere I go I have the same problem. What does that tell you? It's good I live in Chicago which has the best water filtration plant in the world. Freshwater Lake Michigan surrounds the city and that helps a lot.
