Hello , In doing research on Architect - Rafael Nelson Aboganda , I came across your blog with an article and Photo of the Architect regarding his designing in 1968 The Escherian Stairwell. I was wondering if you have any additional history, background , about him , i.e. Birth , education anything too support his existence aside from the photo . because i haven't been able to find anything other than your photo .
The person that filmed the stairwell claims the video was a fabricated story and the Architect didn't actually exist and claims the stairwell was a myth and he employed camera angles and editing .... However after doing research today I was able to locate the filmaker and I sent him a message , but he refused too reply in writing , he simply gave me a thumbs down icon after reading my message .
You see I happen too know that the stairwell actually exist because my father while in the US Airforce took our family to the stairwell in the 1960's and it was experianced just as depicted in the video . I believe the filmmaker filmed the actual stairwell and has faked that he made this whole story up , just too assist in launching his film career and having the public believe its a MYTH , as a result the architect has NO credit for designing this stairwell , wikipedia has him listed as a fictional made up Architect in 1968 , Snopes.com based off of the filmaker has him listed as anon existing real person , and he used kickstarter too raise funds for his film project and to perpetuate a lie that the stairwell is non existant. That it was his thesis project .
