Political Religiosity

REPUBLICAN PARTY PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE - MITT ROMNEY
Is it time to have a Mormon president?  It did not seem to be a hindrance to the current U.S. president who was a Muslim by blood and birth when he was a presidential candidate in 2008.
Obama's political hatchet man attacked the religiosity of Mitt Romney.  You know, Mormon equals polygamy or plural marriage.  That his great grandfather or grandfather practiced polygamy.  In fact, not my fact but history fact, very few Mormons practice polygamy and was not part of the original Mormon theory of marriage.  It was forbidden by the Manifesto of 1890.  When polygamy was abandoned by the Mormon church, Utah was then admitted in the Union in 1896.
Okedoke.  Tit for tat.  Which one is bad?  Obama's Kenyan father, grandfather and great grandfather who had many wives, for sure four, and a bigamist if he did marry Obama's mother in Hawaii or in Kenya, or, Mitt's father, grandfather and great grandfather? Gotcha!
Republican pundits say there are more important hot button issues - social and economic.  Everything is important in politics because many voters, young and old, are easily misled by hypes and lies from the bias mainstream media and celebrities.
Obama and his cohorts are always blaming people, particularly George W. and America for its economic woes.  I disagree wholeheartedly - during the Bush Administration the job unemployment was 4.9% only and the economy was good.  Now, three of my friends have no jobs.  Under Obama, unemployment went up to 9.4%, the reverse.  Hold it, hold it - in 2006, because of the Iraq & Afghanistan Wars, American voters voted for the Democrats, i.e. Nancy Pelosi (a Catholic in name only) and Harry Reid (a Mormon), in Congress.  That was the beginning of America going down the toilet.  Banking chairpersons - Democrats Christopher Dodd & Barney Frank directed banks to give mortgage to low income home buyers and no down payment needed.  Democrats were more to blame than Republicans if you ask me.
Right. Romney said, "This is not the time to attack people, this is the time to attack problems."  I must say Obama is not a pro-active president, kind of lazy and obviously not a leader.  What he's good at is the endless fundraisings since he took office with his good pal Warren Buffett and Bill Maher.  The projected funds in his coffer is about $ 2 billions.
If I'm correct, the American voters this time will be more well-informed, sensible and conscientious on who's the lesser of two evils.  Obama has a political and economic records which he did not have before.  A failing grade with a capital F.
Pretty soon, if not already, Romney will be looking for his veep.  All names being thrown are qualified and worthy of consideration.  The big electoral states of New York, Illinois, and California are already in the hands of Obama.  Romney's only hopes are Florida,Ohio and Indiana.  As a political observer, I pick and prefer Jeb Bush as Romney's veep (and then President in 2020).  Down at the end of the line -  John Kasick or Rob Portman of Ohio, only because they are always sending me thoughtful e-mails.  To get out of this economic malaise, America needs a leader by the name of Romney.

According to Angel Moroni, anything is possible in the Book of Mormon.  So it is written in the Golden Plates.  So it shall be done!
