FOREVER FAVORITE SPECIAL RECIPE: PORK BELLY ADOBO (Unsecret Recipe)



Meat only inside the Labyrinth Kitchen

No vegetables allowed!




Ingredients:

Pork belly (cut into bite-size cubes)

Soy sauce

Garlic (minced or powdered)

Salt

Peppercorn or fresh ground pepper

White vinegar

Bay leaves (2-3)


Instructions:

Boil pork belly in water for 1 hour and 30 minutes until pork skin, fat and meat are tender. Add soy sauce to nice brown to color, add garlic, salt, pepper and bay leaves. Stir and boil more. Add vinegar (3 tablespoon) - this is the critical phase in cooking a tasty and delicious adobo - NEVER EVER STIR AFTER ADDING THE VINEGAR. After boiling for maybe 10 minutes, stir the whole thing.
