THE PHILIPPINE BEAUTY: A THING OF BEAUTY IS A JOY FOREVER. One of my favorite events is watching the Miss Universe pageants every year. There has never been a Miss Universe from the Philippines since 1973 when Margarita "Margie" Moran was crowned Miss Universe in Athens, Greece. I've loved the Greek people since then. They know a goddess Aphrodite when they see one. Of course, Gloria Diaz who was te first Filipina to be crowned Miss Universe in 1969 in Miami Beach, Florida, the same day Neil Armstrong was the first man to take that one small step on the moon. Alas! Forty years of eluding the title crown is like forty years in the desert of no bitter-sweet joy for the Filipinos.
I was betting for Ariella all the way to get the crown. A true Philippine beauty,quite exotic and a smile to melt any man's heart. I said to myself, self, this could be the year. But it was not meant to be. Maybe, just maybe, the Donald should get a Filipino judge (with clout) next time, say Manny Pacquiao!
This is very precious indeed! Pinoy babes are not only lovely but also possess beautiful mind. Brain and beauty. Their smooth brown skin and silky long black hair are so attractive. I'm not surprise this is the 4th time the Philippines won the MS. INTERNATIONAL contest. I think we now equaled Venezuela?
What in the world is wrong with being a nanny? Princess Diana was a nanny as a teenager. Without nannies, moms will go crazy!

HEY, COMPADRE! VISITING FROM THE WINDY CITY I'M VERY IMPRESSED WITH THE NAVAL SEASIDE TOWN OF SAN DIEGO. The city is clean and bright, not too crowded, visitors walking are happy and relaxed, the weather to my liking and local Filipino Americans are friendly. I have no complaints.
