Endless maze and cornucopia of memories with family and friends, from birth and beyond. My labyrinth is my brain. A brain that will open everytime you click the maze. "Reach high, for stars lie hidden in your soul. Dream deep, for every dream precedes the goal." *Blessed Mother Teresa

Foreign Born Political Observer (FBPO) Libya
I must say I was kind of disappointed with Colonel Muammar Qaddafi. On the other hand, I was not surprised. Why so? It's because, yeah, the United States of A. has a Democrat President. That's why.
Was I wrong in my past observation? Qaddafi usually knew when to back down. And retreat. What is so different this time? He's not afraid of Obama, a Nobel Peace Laureat and the world's most adorable apologetic!
In 1986, the great Republican President Ronald Reagan (1980-1988), by the way who's celebrating his centennial this year, bombed Qaddafi's tent in the Libyan desert, unfortunately killing his adopted daughter. He was not to be heard after that. Ahhh! It turned out Qaddafi was concocting a very evil deed for ten years. The PanAm flight blew up in mid-air over the field in Lockerbie, Scotland, a day before Christmas of 1994? Or was it 1996?
Correct Data

Total Passengers Killed: 270
Fast forward to the Iraq War. Who was the Commander-in-Chief? George W. Bush (2000-2008) - another great Republican President! Qaddafi feared that he was next, became more diplomatic with the Brits and the Italians and the United States, of course.
What does this tell you? Only a Republican president can oust the cunning Colonel Qaddafi. He knows who to fear!
All in all, the "present" Obama Administration dilly-dallied and did not seize the day thereby losing momentum. This is the problem when he surrounds himself with his cabal of liberal academicians whose experiences in domestic and foreign policies are limited in the classroom.
What America needs is a Republican president for 2012.

Tagaytay Highlands
Retired Edith is living the high life with her hubby Mar at the gated community of Tagaytay Highlands, an hour or so (or is it 2 hours?) drive from Manila. She learned we'd be in the Philippines for the great reunion so she invited her classmates to visit her at her place. A visitor at her place has to pass 4 checkpoints/gates! Swimming pool to make the hot and sweaty body coolReception hall to celebrate anniversaries, weddings and whatever partiesGolf courseTo funicular for a better view of Taal Lake & VolcanoIt was a cloudy day so Taal Lake & Volcano, the centerpiece attraction of Batangas, did not photograph well at all. Yes, we can see Taal from where we are. It's known to be the world's smallest active volcano. The volcano is surrounded by a lake on an islet, lapped by another lake. Both the lake and the volcano are situated within the crater of an extinct volcano. Grocery storeThe Living RoomAng sarap ng suman!Cozy bedrooms
UST Classmate Minda
Minda retired early from her job at BioMerieux USA Automated Microbial System, a few years ago and since then she's been living the good life in the Philippines. She threw a big welcome luncheon for her classmates who arrived from the United States and friends at Global City, near Manila.
