VATICAN CITY  Pope Francis was a nightclub bouncer in Argentina ... Pope Francis, just like his namesake St. Francis of Assisi and a Jesuit priest, told world leaders to help the poor and fight poverty in his first apostolic exhortation.  He's very much aware of homeless people because in his hometown of Buenos Aires they are all over the city and just sleeping near the doorsteps of his former diocese church.  St. Ignatius de Loyola, founder of the Jesuit Order, once  belonging to a rich family and who left all his worldly goods, begged his way all the way to Jerusalem.  The Pope should be cut some slack since he's very much aware and grateful that all money being donated to the Roman Catholic every Sunday come from rich capitalist donors.  For God's sake, he's just exhorting, not extorting ...

I have to concur with radio talkshow host Rush Limbaugh that Pope Francis would not have gotten the TIME PERSON OF THE YEAR if not for his socialistic apostolic musings on treckle-down economics and capitalism.  There is no doubt the magazine is leftist and liberal, totally the extreme opposite of the Pope's Catholic belief  (religious freedom, abortion, gay marriage etc. etc.)  I betcha you if Limbaugh didn't "criticize" and albeit "disappointed" with him, the magazine would have given the award to the traitor and whistleblower Edward Snowden.  It's in the DNA of the magazine to honor people of dubious personalities ...
