 DO WE HAVE TO FEEL SORRY FOR NANCY PELOSI?  In an address to her fellow Members of Congress just recently, they like the common folks, that's us, live from paycheck to paycheck also.  So unbelievable!  What kind of crazy talk is that, pray tell?  What an annoying woman!

The e-mail below has been going round and round in the internet to remind us of her abuses and wastes of taxpayers' money.

Uh-huh!  No one, no one, Independents & even Republicans, would believe me that the Democrats were the cause and collapse of the US bad economy (Dodd, Frank, & Co.) since they took both houses of Congress in early 2007.  How in the world why the GOPs won't defend themselves when they are under attack in political ads that it was Bush's failed policy?  So ridiculous.  Pure twisting of facts.  Sometimes these Republicans are not aggressive as they should be.  So namby-pamby.  One should speak with forcefullness and strong confident voice without being angry.  I hope as well-informed voters those student yahoos who voted for Obama won't be fooled by media hypes and celebrity endorsement.  No doubt, all blacks, not only 90%, will vote for the Democrats.  They are their blood brothers.  And nothing wrong with that because I'd also do it if I were black.  We'll see if Madame Speaker Pelosi will be included in draining the swamp on November 2nd.  Tuesday tsunami is coming!

I understand that a former Speaker of the House, Newt Gingrich, flew commercial most of the time. Many, many legislators walked by and grinned with glee as Joe informed every one of what Queen Nancy's Big Fat Jet costs us, the hard working American tax payers, literally thousands of gallons of fuel every week. Since she only works 3 days a week, this gas guzzling jet gets fueled and she flies home to California every Friday and returns every Monday, at a cost to the taxpayers (YOU and ME are those taxpayers!) of about $60,000, one way! As Joe put it ...."Unfortunately we have to pay to bring her back on Monday night and that costs us another $60,000!" Taxpayers, that is $480,000 per month and that is an annual cost to us of$5,760,000!!! No wonder she complains about the cost of this war ... it might cramp her style that she is styling on my back and yours. I think of the military families in this country doing without and this woman, who heads up the most corrupt Congress in the history of our country, keeps fueling that jet while doing nothing. Queen Pelosi wants you and me to conserve our carbon footprint. She wants us to buy smaller cars and Obama wants us to get a bicycle pump and air up our tires. Who do these people think they are??? Their motto is ...Don't do as I do ... JUST DO AS I SAY! This is outrageous, forward it to all those on your email list! Keep in mind the figures above do NOT include the cost of plane or crew...just the fuel!!! One has to wonder what the total package costs us? And on top of that ... now she wants to tax our IRA's & 401K's! I know where I would like to put my footprint! "PLAN as if you are going to live forever . . . LIVE as if you are going to die tomorrow."

I've been meaning to talk about this for a long, long time.  Being informed by mail, I've participated in 4 Class Action Suits that I remember in my lifetime.  Was it worth it? Maybe.  I don't know what to make of it.  But this I know, you get very little or none at all.  These are the winning lawsuits:

1, Lawsuit against the airlines for manipulating and fixing the fares (1985? - 1998?).  I received vouchers but I was not able to use them on holidays.
2.  Lawsuit against a bank for not notifying customers ahead of time that their CDs are maturing.  I got a check for $9.00.
3.  Lawsuit against MasterCard & Visa credit cards for excessive fees.  I got a check for $6.00 ?
4.  Lawsuit against Epson for misleading notice on printer inks or something.  After 2 years or so I got a $50.00 worth of inks.
The latest lawsuit is against AT&T for very slow internet speed when it advertised HIGH SPEED! Which is so true in my experience.  I took a look to see what's in it for me -- $2.00 and change.  Yikes!
Now, tell me?  Who got rich? Not the litigants but the LAWYERS!

THIS IS THE EXPECTED CONSEQUENCES OF OBAMA MILITARY POLICIES OF NOT STAYING IN IRAQ.   Terror groups like Islamic State (IS) and al-Shabaab taking advantage by power grabbing, terrorizing all Iraqis and Syrians and destroying historic artefacts and manuscripts that are dated since 700 A.D.  America needs a strong president as well as a leader.  At this moment of chaos and destruction the world needs a fighter not a lover.  You know who I'm talking about (George W).  When the U.S. was bombing Iraq everything of the historic treasures were even preserved and not bombed.  The Obama Administration is paralyzed and could not care less at the twilight of his presidency  because what's happening in the Middle East, Russia, Africa and Israel are not really of interest to him.  He wanted America to be weak so other countries could and would be stronger.  I agree with Rudy (Giuliani) 110 % and I'm glad he did not back down.

Everyone is tested! The Obama Administration is being tested this time.  I'm talking about the environmental disaster in the Gulf of Mexico.  After all these years, and thousands and thousands oil rigs all over the world, ONE man-made destruction came upon along the bountiful shores of Louisiana and it had to happen to the environmentally friendly Obama Administration.  How ironic!  But I assure you, they will get a pass from the bias mainstream media.  How so?  You did not see any mass protests from liberal Democrat Americans, wacko environmentalists, Hollywood celebrities and what nuts like what occurred during the Bush years.  Everyone blamed Bush for Hurricane Katrina and the craziness that happened afterwards when in my opinion only Mother Nature was to blame.  American soldiers and NATO counterparts are still being killed in Iraq and Afghanistan but where were the demonstrators with their display of combat boots and other paraphernalia? Where are those American idiots? Nowhere to be seen because Obama is the president you see.  There was a deluge in Nashville, Tennessee, some weeks ago.  Did you see Obama declare the place a disaster area and visit the place? Nooo! Yeah, no mention because he could not care less.  It's been more than a month, the oil rig disaster, and the Obama Administration had no choice but blame Bush & Cheney again.  It's a great excuse, you know.  Obama will always get a pass because of one and one reason alone.... he's black!  If you do so, you're not part of the academic elite and have racial prejudice.
I always say, what goes around comes around.  A good cat deserve a good rat.  Tit for tat.

This is so unbelievable! Calling Pope Benedict XVI names. Are Muslims and
their leaders suffering from inferiority complex or low self-esteem? They
are the ones attacking (9/11, 3/11, 7/7 and many violent protests) and
terrorizing the world, are they not? Yet, there is this Pope making an
innocent quote in his speech and every Muslim cries every damn thing in the
holy book!

Now, even that Rosie O'Donnell in the left-wing ABC TV show The View saying
"Christian radicals are as bad as Muslim radicals." What an asinine
opinion, so full of crap. We should boycott the show, a creation of Barbara
Walters, a great friend of Fidel Castro.

I always watch Kathy Lee & Kotb's Ambush Makeover every Friday morning while having my breakfast.  I noticed that too, of the madeover women walking clumsily in their new shoes.  But they looked amazingly beautiful in their new do and makeup.  For me, red lipstick and false eyelashes really make a whole lot of difference.  I always start my morning by giving thanks to God for all His blessings.  Then I put on my red lipstick.

The Way We Walk

Read: Deuteronomy 11:13-23

Just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. —Romans 6:4

A television program that I enjoy watching has a segment called Ambush Makeover. Two women are chosen to undergo 3 hours of pampering to update their hair, makeup, and wardrobe. The change is often dramatic. When the women step from behind a curtain, the audience gasps. Friends and family members sometimes start to cry. After all of this, the person with the new look finally gets to see herself. Some are so shocked that they keep looking in the mirror as if to find proof that it’s really them.

As the women walk across the set to join their companions, the former self becomes evident. Most do not know how to walk in their new shoes. Although they look chic, their clumsy walk gives them away. Their transformation is incomplete.

This is true in our Christian lives as well. God does the work in us to give us a new start, but to walk in the way of the Lord (Deut. 11:22) requires time, effort, and lots of practice. If we just stand still and smile, we can pass as being transformed. But the way we walk tells how far along we are in living out that transformation. Being changed means giving up our previous way of life and learning a new way to walk (Rom. 6:4).

The new life in Christ has begun—
The past with its darkness is gone;
Look closer to see what the Savior has done,
For change is beginning to dawn. —Hess

A change in behavior begins with a change in the heart.
