I've been saying and observing for years that Global Warming (changed to Climate Change when it did not get very hot where I'm or you're living) is nothing but an environmental hoax for the sole purpose of enriching the wallet of great scammers like you know who.  These environmental scientists could not even make an accurate prediction to anything.
Blaming man is kind of moronic, don't you think? How about animals like cows farting methane gases? Anyway, they are of very minimal effects in comparison with the power of Mother Nature, volcanic eruptions, cyclical earth and the push of the sun.
There's only one but only one exact science - - baking.
It's all boils down to global politics and money.

 WELCOME

Hello ! long lost lab techs.
We worked together before as co-workers and became close because of our love of medical technology.  We used to say I'm proud of being a lab tech because we save patients.  The lab tech is an important and vital link with doctors, nurses and others in health care profession. And man, didn't we worked hard as you can see in my photos.   I'm opening my photo albums for you to see and remember the happy days we had together.
Some of you I have met time and time again and my, you have not changed at all.  Some of you have moved away to far distant lands and it's my sincere hope you'll find your way to this new website..
Thanks!

WORK vs
PRISON

Just in case you ever got the two mixed up...This
should
       make things   bit
clearer....

1. IN PRISON...You spend the majority of your time in
an

8X10
cell.

AT WORK... you spend the majority of your time in a
6X8

cubicle.

2. IN PRISON...you get three meals a
day.

AT WORK...you only get a break for one meal and you pay

for
it.

3. IN PRISON...you get time off for good
behavior.

AT WORK...you get more work for good
behavior.

4. IN PRISON...the guard locks and unlocks all the
doors

for
you.

AT WORK...you must carry around a security card and
open

all the doors for
yourself.

5. IN PRISON...you can watch TV and play
games.

AT WORK...you get fired for watching TV and playing
games.

6. IN PRISON...you get your own toilet.

               AT
WORK...you have to share with some idiot who pees on the
seat.

7. IN PRISON...they allow your family and friends to

visit.

AT WORK...you can't even speak to your
family.

8. IN PRISON...the taxpayers pay all expenses with no
work

required.

AT WORK...you get to pay all the expenses to go to work

and  then they deduct taxes from your salary to pay for
prisoners.

9. IN PRISON...you spend most of your life inside
bars

wanting to get
out.

AT WORK...you spend most of your time wanting to get
out

and go inside
bars

10. IN PRISON...you must deal with sadistic
wardens.

AT WORK...they are called
managers.

A big earthquake with the strength of 8.1 on the Richter scale hit the middle east.
Two million Muslims died and over a million were injured..
The country is totally ruined and the government doesn't know where to start with providing help to rebuild.
The rest of the world is in shock.
The USA is sending troops to help.
Saudi Arabia is sending oil.
Latin American countries are sending supplies.
New Zealand is sending sheep, cattle and food crops.
The Asian continents are sending labour to assist in rebuilding infrastructure.
Canada is sending medical teams and supplies.

Australians, not to be outdone, are sending two million replacement Muslims.

God Bless Australia

Me, oh my, Obama and the Democrats just keep on going with their socialized health spread agenda.
Open your eyes, people! A government healthcare is a corrupt healthcare.  How so? I'll tell you how so: This is what's happening right now in my favorite country of Greece, almost bankrupt I heard.  Although I don't believe it just because it's so rich in historical resources and attractions.  Greece has socialized medicine and with it comes bribery and government corruption.  A patient had to bribe a doctor $500 to be put in front of the line and be operated tomorrow instead of waiting 2 months at the least.  Doctors who went to medical school for 8 to 10 years are paid less and had to increase their income by working more hours in the evening.  Would you like being examined by a tired and sleepless doctor?  How about the quality of care? In socialized medicine, it's quantity not quality, you fool!
It's hard for me to understand why intelligent Americans voted for Obama and the Democrats.  Yeah, someone told me, "I'll vote for him and if he doesn't do good with his promises I'll not vote for him next time." Okay, but I have a sixth sense! Professor Obama was all hype, no executive experience, not a commander-in-chief material (no passion in winning the war) and very lucky enough because of the color of his skin to be under the protective custody of the liberal mainstream media who hated Ronald Reagan and George W and Sarah Palin.  Presidential candidate McCain who can talk (I disagree with my fellow Republicans and Conservatives) was over-hyped by the Obama campaign.
Let's see if Obama will be able to live the hypes.
I don't see.

Every breath of
air

Reply

Recommend Message 1 in Discussion

From: ALTPresident1

I READ somewhere that we breath the air that turns into wind and
believe.  We can't see it, we can't touch it, we can't grasp
it, and we can't feel it and yet know it's there.  We know
there's a sun when it's rising and shining.  But in the
darkness of night when there's no sun and we can't see it we
believe there's a sun because we know the sun will come out
tomorrow as expected.  Why then, I beg to ask some of us,
can't we believe there is a God?

A most amazing thing happens every
spring on top of the corner nook of the front door of my
house.  Every spring, little by little, day by day, a mother
bird (not a father bird, I think, because mothers are more
nurturing) returns and builds a nest of tiny thin sprigs and
branches  I even saw the other day a piece of white tissue
attached to the nest.  Today, it has become a beautiful and
comfortable nest for the blue eggs (I dragged a small ladder some
years ago to see what's in the nest).  Don't ask me what kind
of birds - all I know they are either brown or black birds and
very protective of the young ones.  Once or many times, who
knows I wasn't there all the time, the birds even startled my
mailman.

I love the GE ecoimagination ads - the tap
dancing elephants  and the wind energy - the little boy
catching the wind in a small bottle, traveling awhile and giving
it to his grandpa for his birthday - every moment tuned to Bob
Dylan's song "Catch the Wind."  Very impressive.  It
reminded me of a most amazing neat little story about
Thomas Edison

When
Thomas Edison was on his death bed, his dear friend and great
admirer Henry Ford had Edison's son hold a test tube next to his
father's mouth to capture his last breath.  The test tube
with Edison's last breath is still on display at the Henry Ford
Museum in Dearborn, Michigan.

Wow!
Whoo!

_____________________________________________________________

Since it's the Holy Week, I am going to talk about everything religion.  After all, the other half of our motto is "Everyday People."  This maybe, the first time and end of the discussion.

First in the discussion, right of the bat, is the sex abuse of children by pedophilic priests in the Catholic church.  A friend once told me all religious and non-religious organizations do it but the Catholic Church is a big and easy target.  I remember very well the false accusation against Cardinal Bernardin of Chicago.  Although the accuser recanted later, the dark stain on the white cloak of the holy and suffering Cardinal would never be removed even after his death.  There are so many good priests in the whole of Christendom - - be they Irish, German, American and Asians.  One bad apple spoils the whole bushel, so I say.  Everyone agree it's a crime against God and humanity.
Second, "The Separation of Church and State."  I am not going to defend the Vatican and its Head of the Catholic Church, the infallible Pope Benedict XVI, for it can defend itself.  I don't have to explain that the Vatican City is the smallest country in the world and therefore it has its own divine theological laws, rites and dogmas.  I must say it has a different way and method of curing and punishing the hopelessly sick priests.  Indeed, those are different times and so different from the mores of today. In the vocabulary of the Catholic church, only one word will purify your flesh and spirit - - the very basic foundation where everything leads to - - FORGIVENESS.  All the faithful and priests go to confession, saying in the beginning, "Forgive me Father for I have sinned..."  and then take the Holy Communion.  As a matter of fact, the Catholic Vatican is just practicing what it is preaching.
Third, although created in the "image" of God, we are only human.  Not a day that we don't sin, in words and in deeds.  There is no option, no choice, no recourse when the words are said by our mortal tongue and wrong deeds are done by our mortal weapon but to what? What? We say and pray like Jesus said in the Garden of Gethsemane (Hebrew for oil stores or oil press), "Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven; give us this day our daily bread and forgive our trespasses as we forgive those who tresspass against us, and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil.  Amen."

THE APOSTLES' CREED
I believe in one God, the Father Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth; and in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord; Who was conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried.  He descended into hell; the third day he arose again from the dead; he ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of God, the Father Almighty; from thence he shall come to judge the living and the dead.  I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting.  Amen.

There are more than a billion Catholics in this world.  In the United States there are more than 68 per cent of people who were raised Catholic and remained in the Catholic faith.  But as a Foreign Born Observer and a Catholic, I am very much touched and heartened, even with horrible scandals of sex abuse of children through the years, be it sensational and true, the strong faith is still there and the faithful always come home.  With God, nothing is impossible!

MOUNT OF OLIVES - JERUSALEM

THE EARLIEST TOMBS OF MOUNT OF OLIVES CEMETERY ARE LOCATED AT THE FOOT OF THE MOUNTAIN IN THE KIDRON VALLEY.   It's the city's oldest functioning cemetery.  There are more than 150,000 identified plots in the ceemetery.  Scholars expect there are many more that have not been identified.  It's where the Jewish kings, priests and prophets (Zechariah) are said to be buried.  Elsewhere in the cemetery are Jewish rabbis, Zionist leaders, a Nobel Laureate for Literature (S.Y. Agnon), and an Israeli Prime Minister Menachem Begin.  The cemetery could run out of space in 10 years.

All the bodies are buried with their feet facing the Temple Mount so that when the Messiah returns to earth, there will be no confusion as to which direction they should go.
'On that day God's feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, which is opposite Jerusalem to the east.  The Mount of Olives will be split in two from east to west by a very deep valley, and half of the mountain will move to the north and half of it to the south.'

- Zechariah 14:4
On top of the tombs are small stones (no flowers)  - symbolizing the return to dust

Beautiful powerpoint, Narni!  I've been in this part of the world but unfortunately I did not see Mary's tomb.  Where was it?  I was in Jerusalem late last year and I missed it.  I thought the Virgin Mary spent her days at the mountains of Ephesus and died there.  I saw her stone house there.  Did they dig up her bones and bury her in Jerusalem?  I have to check the internet and bing it.  You know, what really happened to Mother Mary.  Little was known what she did after Jesus died.  The Ave Maria song of famed opera singer Renata Tebaldi (she had a concert in Manila many, many years ago) is just divine and comforting.  Peace.

The phone rings and the lady of the house answers,
'Hello.'

'Mrs. Sanders, please.'

'Speaking.'

'Mrs. Sanders, this is Doctor Jones at Advanced Laboratories. When your husband's doctor sent his biopsy to the lab last week, a biopsy from another
Mr. Sanders arrived as well. We are now uncertain which one belongs to your husband. Frankly, either way the results are not too good.'

'What do you mean?' Mrs. Sanders asks nervously.

'Well, one of the specimens tested positive for Alzheimer's (loss of memory) and the other one tested positive for HIV. We can't tell which is which.'

'That's dreadful! Can you do the test again?' questioned Mrs. Sanders.

'Normally we can, but Obamacare will only pay for these expensive tests once.'

'Well, what am I supposed to do now?'

'The folks at Obamacare recommend that you drop your husband off somewhere at the other end of town - If he finds his way home, don't sleep with him.'

George Washington Code

George
Washington Code

Some rules George
Washington, the Father of Our Country, copied in an exercise book which he
thought were important when he was 15 years old.   Code of
conduct which he considered decent behavior in company and
conversation.  Some words are the lingo of Washington's
time.

In the presence of others
sing not to yourself with a humming noise, nor drum with your fingers or
feet.

Sleep not when others
speak, sit not when others stand, speak not when you should hold your peace,
walk not when others stop.

Turn not your back to
others especially in speaking, jog not the table or desk on which another reads
or writes, lean not upon any one.

Keep your nails clean and
short, also your hands and teeth clean yet without showing any great concern for
them.

When you meet one with
greater quality than yourself, stop, and retire especially if it be at a door or
any straight place to give way for him to pass.

Use no reproachful
language against any one neither curse nor revile.

Wear not your cloths,
foul, unript or dust but see they be brushed once every day at least and take
heed that you approach not to any uncleaness.

Play not the peacock,
looking everywhere about you, to see if you be well decked, if your shoes fit
well, if your stocking sit neatly, and cloths handsomely.

Gaze not on the marks and
blemishes of others and ask not how they came.  What you may speak in
secret to your friend deliver not before others.

While you are talking,
point not with your finger at him of whom you discourse nor approach (Al Gore)
too near him (George W. Bush) to whom you talk especially to his
face.

Treat with men at fit
times about business and whisper not in the company of others.

Be not curious to know
the affairs of others neither those that speak in private.

It's unbecoming to stoop
much to ones meat (food), keep your fingers clean and when foul
(dirty) wipe them on a corner of your table napkin.

In company of your
betters be not longer in eating than they are, lay not your arm but only your
hand upon the table.

If others talk at the
table be attentive but talk not with meat (food) in your mouth.

Labour to keep alive in
your breast that little spark of celestial fire called conscience.

Dear ALT Award-Winning Contributor Rose of Pennsylvania:
I did not know that!  One
thing I knew, elephants can't jump but they can dance.  My favorite
commercial is GE
where an elephant is dancing to the tune of "Singing in
the Rain."

 Did You Know...
If you yelled for 8
years, 7 months and 6 days you would have produced enough sound energy to heat
one cup of coffee.
 (Hardly seems worth it.)

 If you passed gas
consistently for 6 years and 9 months, enough gas is produced to create the
energy of an atomic bomb.
 (Now that's more like it!)

 The human heart
creates enough pressure when it pumps out to the body to squirt blood 30 feet.

  (Wow!)

  (In my

 A

(Creepy.)    (I'm still not over the pig.)

Banging your head against a wall uses 150 calories

(Do not try this at home.
Maybe at work.)

 The male praying

The female initiates sex by ripping the male's head

 (Hmmmmmm..)

Right-handed people live, on average, nine years longer than
left-handed people.

do you split the difference?)

Elephants are the only animals that cannot jump.
(OK, so that would be a good thing..)

   A cat's urine glows under a black

(I know some people like that.)

   Starfish have no brains.

 (I know some people like
that, too.)

Polar bears are left-handed.    (If they switch, they'll live a lot
longer.)
